I’m a retired United States Marine Corps Veteran with 20 years of service across personnel administration, logistics, operations, security cooperation, and global assignments.
Post-service, I built a federal and national security–focused career that includes serving as a HillVets Congressional Fellow supporting the U.S. House of Representatives, working as a Senior Government Event Program Planner (Contractor) with Human Domain Solutions supporting the Ted Stevens Center for Arctic Security Studies, serving as a Civil Service Foreign Affairs Officer with the U.S. Department of State, and currently working as a Program Analyst (Contractor) with Leisnoi Government Services in direct support of the Department of State.
I also serve as President of VETS2INDUSTRY, leading national workforce development and veteran engagement initiatives.
I mentor veterans on federal civilian and contractor pathways, USAJobs strategy, résumé translation, interviews, networking with intent, SkillBridge readiness, and leadership repositioning.

Exceptional mentor that took the time to listen and assist me with all my questions. I appreciated the level of care he showed and also the willingness to provide me access to his network that can further assist me. He maximized the time well and asked thought provoking questions that led to a collaboration on the best means for navigating my transition. More importantly, he stayed true to his word and provided me with connections, resources, recommended education/ certifications, while maintaining continued communication post session. This was a great session with Matthew, he provided great insight on transitioning and the importance of not doing too much. He also provided me a list of great veteran transition programs to utilize and even offered to make third party connections to where I will be retiring to.
