It is always refreshing to meet a "squared-away" veteran like Karen who is absolutely focused on her civilian life career goal of medical entrepreneurship in the Houston area. She brings a wealth of real-world training and experience to her current endeavors and is already extremely knowledgeable about medical logistics and navigating the veteran-civilian transition chapter of her life. Karen will be a great fit for individuals and companies with venture funds looking for a reliable and effective partner.

Karen was amazing to meet and she has had an illustrious career in the U.S. Army. She told me many things about her background and what she wants to do in the contracting field with creating her own business. I provided her with a ton of resources in the Houston and San Antonio Texas areas plus multiple virtual events that she can attend to provide her other directions. I hoped to provide a clear shotgun approach of my story and different organizations and people that I will connect her with so that she can be successful in her next steps to find the career that makes sense for her after she left the Military a few years ago.
