I've recently worked in state government in accounting and regulatory research. Most of my prior jobs have been varied with some overlap. Three themes have been present within my entire career: improving workflow and efficiency (operations), budgets/projects (accounting/finance/tax), helping employees understand leadership and their decisions (HR/liaison).
